Smart Whiteboard Paint Kit – Clear Installation
Our Smart Whiteboard Paint Kit– Clear does not require professional installation. Anyone can apply this dry erase paint.
It is important that your surface is smooth before application. A smooth surface will help you achieve the best final results. A water based primer must be used before applying Smart Whiteboard Paint – Clear when painting:
- over an absorbent surface or material
- a new wood or absorbent dry material
- a new porous or dry material such as plaster or concrete
- over porous surfaces such as paper based wallpaper
We recommend using our Smart Clear Primer as it has been tested to work with our whiteboard paint. If you are painting Smart Whiteboard Paint – Clear over a mid to high gloss finish, or non-absorbent surface (like a digital print), you will not need to prime the surface.
Simply apply the primer, allow to dry, then apply one coat of our whiteboard paint. Once the dry erase paint has been applied you must wait 4 days before using the surface. A full application guide is available to help you apply our whiteboard paint.
